Lecture and Hands-On Program – General Knowledge Suggested
Recent Advances in Endodontics will be reviewed including Endodontic diagnostic techniques and treatment planning. The evidenced-based use of cone beam computed tomography will be reviewed for use in treatment decision analysis and to select the best treatment options for the patient. Local anesthesia, proper endodontic access, use of apex locators, and restoring the endodontically treated tooth will also be discussed. The participant will learn the appropriate use of heat-treated and non-heat treated rotary files for efficient and conservative instrumentation of the root canal system. Obturation with warm gutta percha and bonded obturation with bioceramic sealers will be reviewed. This presentation is a must see for those practitioners committed to clinical efficiency without sacrificing quality care for their patients.
