Proper diagnosis not merely looking at a radiograph and deciding if a case requires root canal therapy or not. While the majority of time this practice may result in the correct diagnosis, rushing to judgment based on the radiograph alone can occasionally cause misdiagnosis and worse yet, rendering the wrong treatment. In this case report with Dr. Bernard Friedland, Dr. Nasseh reviews a special case of treating a tooth endodontically based on the radiograph alone.
